On the charming shores of Trondheim Fjord, Tennvika Cabin & Marina rests as a living testament to perseverance and dreams that have become reality.
The story begins in 2005 when Agnes Elise and Torleif Agnar Moen, born and raised here on Storfosna, discovered the potential along the hidden coastline and decided to create something extraordinary.
With nothing more than a simple tractor and a small trailer, Torleif began to shape the landscape, with Agnes by his side, dreaming of a future with a flourishing harbor and cabin area.
Hour after hour passed in the warm coastal air as they slowly but surely built the pier and the harbor basin, with every stone laid and every shovel of earth turned.
The community's help was invaluable, and the spirit of volunteer work was strong.
The first loads of stones were loaded onto a rusty trailer with a tractor and a reliable Zetor tractor.
The dream of starting a tourist business was alive in Torleif and Agnes, and in 2005, they restored the cabin Lyngmo.
Tennvika Cabin & Marina welcomed its first guests from Germany in 2007, and by 2018, both Lyngmo and the newly built cabin Bajas had hosted a total of 123 guests from near and far.
Stig Rune, the son of Agnes and Torleif, quickly became a central figure in the project.
Responsible for everything from cabin plots to blasting, Stig Rune helped shape Tennvika into what it is today.
A quarry was even established to ensure a steady supply of materials.
As the pier and harbor basin took shape, Agnes and Torleif began to envision the lodging experiences for future guests.
The first investment came in the form of the cabin Lyngmo, which would become the first step in the Tennvika Cabin & Marina adventure.
Later, in 2012, Bajas was built.
Today, Tennvika Cabin & Marina stands as a proud symbol of the community's efforts and the dream of creating something unique.
With Stig Rune as a co-owner, they look forward to new challenges and experiences.
Work continues to complete the harbor basin and add more cabins and floating docks.
